A cloth mask is usually made of cotton cloth. It is generally used to avoid dust and thick pollutants. It can not avoid micro-bacterias present in the air. It can be washed and reused.
Cloth Mask with Filter (निस्पंद कपड़े का मुखावरण)
It is made of a piece of cloth with a pocket for a filter. N95, N99, and other types of filters can be used inside this type of mask. It is washable and allows the user to change the filter.
N95 Mask (एन९५ मुखावरण)
An N95 is a standard of the fabric. It is designed to filter at least 95% of particles present in the air. An N95 mask consists of this N95 fabric with two ear loops.
N99 Mask (एन९९ मुखावरण)
An N99 mask consists of an N99 fabric and two earloops. It can filter at least 99% of pollutants present in the air.
2 ply Mask (२ प्लाई मुखावरण)
A 2 ply mask is made of two layers of fabric. It consists of a layer of non-woven fabric and a layer of polypropylene.
3 ply Mask (३ प्लाई मुखावरण)
A 3 ply mask is made of three layers of fabric. It consists of two layers of non-woven fabric and a layer of polypropylene (in between the layers of non-woven fabric).
Bandana (तिकोना रुमाल)
A bandana is a triangular piece of fabric (generally cotton). It is used to tie around the neck or to cover the face and mouth. It can be used as a face mask to avoid dust and thick pathogens.
N100 Mask (एन१०० मुखावरण)
An N100 mask is made of N100 fabric and consists of two earloops. It can filter at least 99.97% of particles present in the air.
R95 Mask (आर९५ मुखावरण)
An R95 mask is made of R95 fabric and consists of two earloops. It can filter at least 95% of pathogens present in the air. It is oil resistant (partially).
P95 Mask (पी९५ मुखावरण)
A P95 mask is made of P95 fabric and consists of two earloops. It is oil resistant and can filter at least 95% of pathogens present in the air.
P99 Mask (पी९९ मुखावरण)
A P99 mask is made of P99 fabric and consists of two earloops. It is oil resistant and can filter at least 99% of pathogens present in the air.
P100 Mask (पी१०० मुखावरण)
A P100 mask is made of P100 fabric and consists of two earloops. It is oil resistant and can filter at least 99.97% of pathogens present in the air.
Gas Mask (विषैली-वाष्प रोधी मुखावरण)
A gas mask generally covers the whole face. It is used to protect the user from harmful gases. It consists of eyeglasses (made of glass or mica) and filters (chemical, nuclear, etc.) attached in a single mask.
